With its base 105 Speed, Delta Sableye has a small but unique niche of being the fastest Pokémon with a 100% accurate sleep move in the metagame by virtue of No Guard + Hypnosis. Coupled with a diverse utility movepool, this makes Delta Sableye fit best on hyper offense teams as a semi-suicide lead. This set capitalizes on Delta Sableye's ability to guarantee Stealth Rock up quite reliably by forcing switches with Hypnosis, cripple physical attackers with Will-o-Wisp or use Taunt to stop setup sweepers, as well as pivot out of unfavourable matchups with Parting Shot. However, Delta Sableye's reliance on status means that it can be stopped quite easily by status absorbers such as Gliscor, Garganacl, and Delta Gastrodon, as well as faster Taunt users such as Meowscarada, Tapu Koko, Tornadus-Therian, and Aerodactyl.
