Scale Shot helps make up for Haxorus' middling speed giving it a much needed speed boost after use. Close Combat provides the perfect coverage for Heatran which otherwise walls it. Flame Body is the preferred ability due to the threat it poses to physical attackers. With an astounding 124 base attack Haxorus-Delta can alternatively make great use of Swords Dance to become a fearsome wallbreaker.
