Set Description

Lucaurus is an amazing pivot user that does devastating damage with all of its Strong Jaw-boosted moves. Both choice items pair well. The 4th move slot (Extreme Speed or Fire Fang) depends on the type of choice item you're running. Choice Band runs Extreme Speed for revenge-killing. Fire Fang on the other hand can be used to catch Mega Scizor, Ferrothorn, and Kingambit off-guard. It works on offensive and balance teams. However, its lack of bulky makes it incapable of taking hits the same way Kingambit does. Meaning it cannot be brought in as comfortably as its fellow Dark/Steel type. There are a few merits to running Lucaurus over Kingambit however. It's explosive strength with Choice Band at a decent 110 base speed makes it reliable as a wallbreaker and doesn't necessarily need to set-up.
